Center Crystals

We highly recommend you test an empty loop for checking the centering system when you start your experiments. Currently, the equipment is set to measure the 18mm pin as default. To set the measurement for any other pin sizes, please contact the local contact person.

DCS software provides an easy way to handle sample centering.

1. Click the crystal, and the crystal will be centered on the green cross hair +. 

2. Rotate the crystal by + / -90 degree, click on the crystal again if not centered on +. 

3. Repeate 90 deg rotations for several times untill the crystal is well centered.

4. IMPORTANT DO NOT DOUBLE CLICK, this will cause the software (DCS) to freeze and you will need to restart it.
