Login Computers
Currently we have three computers in use for an experiment: VAL, ALAS and CYS. You can start your experiments at any of these three computers.

Start DCS Program
The main program for data processing is called DSC which is running on computer CYS.
| 1. | Open one terminal on CYS, then enter your current directory : /data_cys/User/Life#/YYYY-MM-DD | cd /data_cys/User/Life#/YYYY-MM-DD |
| 2. | Start DCS program 1st option :
from your designated folder | restart |
| 3. | Start DCS program 2nd option :
from any location in CYS | dcs-start-test YYYY-MM-DD |
Stop DCS Program
If you experience some problems with hardware, first thing is to Stop the DCS, then restart the DCS program.
- To exit the DSC program choose Menu File -> Exit.
- Open the terminal where you typed dcs-start, type in command:
stop-server
This command will safely terminate all DSC running processes and all the connections between the computers and the DCS program.
